CPS - PM Custom Reports without the Embedded Designer

Description: The PM Custom Reports course is designed to train users on the fundamentals of creating reports using Crystal Reports. This course will use various forms of training methods such as presentation, discussion, demonstrations, and interactive participation to increase the level of competence and confidence with creating custom PM Reports. The course focuses on connecting to Crystal Reports to design reports and then importing the reports into CPS PM.

Note: This session includes instruction on constructing SQL queries and using standalone Crystal Reports to design the report layout. This session does not include instruction on the Embedded Crystal Designer – please contact us at for information about Embedded Designer training.

Learning Objectives

  • Create Select SQL statements in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio – for ad hoc reporting
  • Create custom PM reports using Crystal Reports 2013
  • Importing your new reports in CPS PM
  • Adding controls and filters

Who Should Attend: Administrators, Billing Managers, Supervisors using Centricity Practice Solutions PM and others responsible for customizing PM reports

Important: To fully participate in this class, participants must bring a laptop with CPS Demo database installed, SQL Server Management Studio, and Crystal Reports software locally installed. Alternatively, participants may remotely connect to an environment with the same requirements. Your production database cannot be used in this class. For further details, contact the instructor at

Upon confirmation of class, you will require a contract for the Course Fee. Contract must be complete and returned prior to the class. Access to the class may be denied or your registration may be cancelled if a completed contract is not secured.
